Mary is of people that when you meet her, you instantly feel underachieved about yourself. Just one minute with her you’ll quickly learn she raised her son, Chase, into a handsome, perfect little man (you’re welcome future ladies), recently bought a house, a car, opened and managed two restaurants and probably saved, I don’t know, 237 cats to date. And now she’s planning a wedding. Sure most people do all these things in their lifetime, but, did you do them all by the time you were 23? Yeah, didn’t think so. 

I met Mary three (can you believe it’s been three?!) years ago and had the privilege of working side-by-side with her. She is diligent and driven, and what I love most about Mary is that she never takes no for an answer. Mary and I instantly became soulmates when we learned we were both children of adoption and figured that we were probably separated at birth! You can see the resemblance despite the age difference, right? Lastly, Mary placed us with our littlest kitty baby, Winston, with perfect timing. I mean, the cat/animal obsession alone is a clear sign that we are kin. 

When Mary asked if I would take her engagement photos because she didn’t trust anyone else, I melted and wish I could have saved that text forever. (Damned you, low iPhone storage!) We had a perfect day, perfect weather and most importantly, perfect peak fall foliage, as you’ll see below. 

Enjoy their perfect (did you expect anything less?) little family and engagement session, and thank you, mama kitty, for including me in this precious time in your life. Miss you. ox
